2022

  • November 16th: start of the 13th and last conference of the French research network GRD IQFA (research network "Quantum Engineering, from Fundamental Aspects to Applications") at C2N.

  • November 1st: Théo Colomer joins the group as a PhD student. He will be working on quantum polaritonics. Welcome Théo.

  • October 1st: Johanna Schulz joins the group as a master student. Originally from Heidelberg unniversity, she decided to spend a semester with us to work on quantum polaritonics. Welcome Johanna.

  • October 1st: Daniela Pinto Dias joins the group as a PhD student. She will be working on KPZ physics in 2D polariton condensates. Welcome Daniela.

  • September 15th: Jiangjing Dong joins the group as a master student. An engineering student at École Polytechnique, she will be doing her third year project with us: she will spend one day per week in the lab to work on quantum polaritonics. Welcome Jiangjing!

  • August 25th: Our paper "Enhanced Cavity Optomechanics with Quantum-Well Exciton Polaritons" is now published in Physical Review Letters!

  • August 24th: Our paper "Kardar–Parisi–Zhang universality in a one-dimensional polariton condensate" Is now published in Nature! See also the nice News and Views by Sebastian Diehl.

  • July 8th: Our paper "Kardar-Parisi-Zhang universality in discrete two-dimensional driven-dissipative exciton polariton condensates", in collabration with the LPMMC group of Léonie Canet and Amma Minguzzi, is now available on arXiv!

  • June 27th: Our paper "Reconfigurable photon localization by coherent drive and dissipation in photonic lattices", in collabration with the Lille group of Alberto Amo, is now published in Optica!

  • June 20th: Nicolas Pernet successfully defends his PhD thesis. Congratulations Dr Pernet! Nicolas will stay with us for one more year as an ARQADIA postdoctoral researcher!

  • June 16th: Our paper "Few-photon all-optical phase rotation in a quantum-well micropillar cavity", in collabration with the Sheffield group of Dmitry Krizhanovskii, is now published in Optica!

  • May 9th: Our paper "Gap solitons in a one-dimensional driven-dissipative topological lattice" Is now published in Optica! See also the nice News and Views by Flore Kunst.

  • Feb 7th: Tom Guillemot joins the group as a Mater 1 intern. He will be working with us on topological photonics for the next six months. Welcome Tom!

  • Dec 20th: Our new paper "Observation of KPZ universal scaling in a one-dimensional polariton condensate" , is available as arXiv:2112.09550.

  • Dec 14th: Our new paper "Optically defined cavities in driven-dissipative photonic lattices" , in collabration with the Lille group of Alberto Amo, on is available as arXiv:2112.07753.

  • Dec 7th: Our paper "Chiral emission induced by optical Zeeman effect in polariton micropillars" , in collabration with the Lille group of Alberto Amo, is now published in Phys. Rev. Research 3, 043161 (2021).

  • Oct 4th: Nicola Carlon Zambon receives the C'Nano IDF thesis prize for fundamental research. Crongrats Titta!

  • Oct 1st: Christian Kriso joins the group as a new postdoc. Welcome Chrisitian!

  • Mar 25th: Our paper on "Measuring Topological Invariants in a Polaritonic Analog of Graphene" is now published in Phys. Rev. Lett. 126, 127403 (2021), and was selected as an Editors’ suggestion. 

  • Mar 8th: We welcome Yasmine Asselah as a master student in the group.

  • Jan 1st: Martin Guillot starts his PhD in the group. Welcome Martin!

  • Jan 1st: Start of project ARQADIA.

 

2020

  • Oct 28th: Our paper on "Semi-Dirac Transport and Anisotropic Localization in Polariton Honeycomb Lattices" is now published in Phys. Rev. Lett. 125, 186601 (2020).

  • Aug 21st: Our paper on "Parametric instability in coupled nonlinear microcavities" is now published in Phys. Rev. A 102, 023526 (2020).

  • June 1st: Our paper on "Emergence of criticality through a cascade of delocalization transitions in quasiperiodic chains" is now published in Nature Physics 16, 832 (2020).

  • Mar 12th: Nicola Carlon-Zambon successfully defends his PhD! The manuscript is available HERE. Nicola will stay a little longer with us as a postdoctoral researcher. All our congratulations to Dr. Carlon-Zambon!

  • Feb 1st: Quentin Fontaine joins the group as a new postdoc. Welcome Quentin!
